The European Pig Innovation Group (EUPiG) is an informal collaboration between a number of farming organizations who have agreed to work together to improve the coordination of applied research, development and knowledge exchange in European pig farming.

Pig farming organizations from Belgium, Denmark, England, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Spain and Portugal and COPA COGECA took part in the first EUPiG meeting in Brussels in September 2013. As a first step members of the group have since been sharing details of current research projects. There is an open invitation to farming organisations throughout Europe with an interest in pig farming, applied research, development and knowledge exchange to join EUPiG.

In 2015/16, the contact for EUPiG is Charlotte Evans (charlotte.evans@ahdb.org.uk) from AHDB Pork, the pig levy division of the UK’s Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board.
