The European Scientific Working group on Influenza (ESWI) is organizing the sixth edition of its ESWI Influenza Conferences in Riga, Latvia, on 10 – 13 September 2017. ESWI Influenza Conferences are among the largest European scientific conferences entirely dedicated to influenza. The upcoming sixth edition will have the contribution of the most renowned influenza scientists.
The conference will be structured in satellite symposiums and parallel sessions that cover the entire spectrum of influenza, epidemiology, pathogenesis, immunology, mathematical modelling,antiviral and resistance,animal flu ecology,genetics, vaccines, risk management and mitigation of epidemic and pandemic threats, policy and young scientists session.
this event will also showcase successful collaborations in different fields. Different parties will approach the influenza issue from their specific perspectives and public health authorities will report on the influenza challenges that lie ahead. At the same time, the conference will provide an informal platform to discuss ways to expand efforts, to exchange good practices and to initiate concrete actions.
